CHURCH COMMITTEES
There are several committees that function within the church and help things run smoothly, each concentrating on its designated area. The committees are: Caring, Education, Finance, Memorial, Missions, Nominations, Staff Parish Relations, Trustees, Visiting Shut-In's, and Worship.

If you're interested in further information on the various committees or serving on a committee, please call the church office. The Nominations Committee will begin working on getting new members for 2006 NOW.  We will strive to fill the committees and then will concentrate on educating the committees of their duties, so to increase production and communication!

PRAYER CHAIN
Call Julianne Bentzen, or the church office, 755-5172 if you would like to serve on First UMC's Prayer Chain. There can never be too many people faithfully lifting up the concerns of those who request special prayers.

You can request prayers by filling out and placing prayer cards in the offering plates on Sundays, or through contacting the church office.

KEEP US AWARE
Please be sure to let Mary Lemon or the office know of special things that are happening with our children in school and the community. We want to be able to recognize our children's accomplishments. Send us a copy of your 'kudos' from school or your picture in the paper so we can share it here.
